Spirit-Filled Worship — Encountering God Through Music
Spirit-filled worship is not merely a musical performance — it is the Church entering into heaven's reality, agreeing with what is true about God and his Kingdom. Worship in the Spirit is one of the primary ways the "already" of the Kingdom is experienced in the "not yet." It is the foretaste of the great gathering around the Throne described in Revelation 4–5.
Worship in Scripture
The Psalms were the prayer and worship book of Israel — saturated with lament, praise, proclamation, and intercession. The New Testament adds the dimension of Spirit-inspired song: "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:19). Revelation shows worship as the central activity of heaven, with the whole creation joining the song of the Lamb.
